Glass Beads for Road Marking

Glass beads play a critical role in enhancing the visibility of road markings, especially at night or in low-light conditions. When applied correctly, they provide excellent retro-reflectivity by reflecting headlights back toward drivers, significantly improving road safety.

Glass beads are used in two ways:

1.Intermixed: Added directly into the road marking paint during production to maintain long-term reflectivity as the paint wears.

2.Drop-on Application: Sprinkled onto freshly applied road marking paint—ideally embedding 50–60% of the bead into the surface—for maximum reflectivity and adhesion.
